Hello! My name is Sylwia and together with my husband Rupert we are about to embark on the biggest adventure of our lives – a roadtrip across Europe. We got married in a civil ceremony in September 2015 and we have jumped on the opportunity to travel whilst our lives are relatively uncomplicated. We are leaving the UK for the summer of 2016  in a campervan with our tortoise-shell cat, Salsa.

We are both successful project managers with great careers in the city but deep inside we are free spirits who want to pursue our passion for outdoor life, make time for creative pursuits and enjoy life – and summer – to the full.

We are setting off in early June. First stop –  Poland. The plan is to hug the Baltic coast to kitesurf and enjoy the seaside. On the 11th June we are getting married (again!) in a religious ceremony back in my hometown Lomza. Then, we are heading off to southern Poland to kick around the beautiful mountain ranges, visit and explore historical towns and cities. We are planning to spend most of July in Italy – surfing, kitesurfing and paddleboarding around the coast. At the end of the month, we will be heading to friends’ wedding  in the Dordogne region, France. After that, the plan is to cross Spain to the south, then up the Portuguese coast to attend another wedding in Viseu in early September. Then, we will have a month to make our way back to London.

The Bond Voyage will document our journey across the continent. We will share our adventures, thoughts and insights along this incredible journey.
